Before submitting your bug report
- I've tried using the "Ask AI" feature on the Continue docs site to see if the docs have an answer
- I'm not able to find a related conversation on GitHub discussions that reports the same bug

- I've seen the troubleshooting guide on the Continue Docs
Relevant environment info
- OS:CachyOS
- Continue version: Latest (Incapable of determing, fresh-install made before issue)
- IDE version: Visual Studio Code - 1.113.0
- Model: Gemini 2.5 Pro
- config: N/A due to peristent errors.Description
It causes an entire IDE crash the moment it tries to edit a file without reason.
This occurs within stock Visual Studio Code as well as Google Antigravity.
To reproduce
Use as intended, crashes when making a file.
