Description
Is your proposal related to a problem?
Teams that use Missive as their shared inbox and email collaboration tool currently have no native way to embed Cal.com booking within that workflow. This forces context-switching — users have to leave Missive to manage or share scheduling links, which breaks the email-first workflow Missive is built around.
Describe the solution you'd like
An official Cal.com integration with Missive that allows users to embed a booking widget or insert a scheduling link directly from within a Missive conversation. Ideally this would work similarly to how other tools surface Cal.com in Gmail or Outlook — either as a sidebar widget or an inline embed that lets recipients book without leaving the email thread.
Describe alternatives you've considered
- Manually copying and pasting Cal.com links into Missive emails — functional but not seamless, and doesn't take advantage of Missive's extension/integration system.
- Using Zapier to connect Missive and Cal.com for post-booking automation — this helps with follow-up but doesn't solve the front-end embed problem.
Additional context
Missive has a developer API and supports custom integrations and sidebar apps. This seems like a feasible integration given their extensibility. There is existing community interest in this pairing among teams that use both tools for client communication.
