Creating an issue from issue search results neither closes New Issue dialog nor opens the created issue

Since there's no visual feedback it's easy to think that issue wasn't created. After you press Submit again the dialog properly closes and you see your created issue, but if you check the list of all issues you'll see that you created a duplicate. Please see reproduction steps in the attached video.

Also, when I was creating this discussion, I was also doing it from search results, but here behavior was slightly different: the New Discussion dialog also didn't close, but the created discussion was opened behind the dialog.
