The recent release of GitHub Action artifact upload v7 now allows creating an artifact from a single file that is not zipped, such as an image, video, or other file type.
Currently, it seems that the comment field in Pull Requests and Issues only supports and displays videos hosted on GitHub User Content. For images, an external link appears to work, but the link returned by the GitHub Action artifact upload does not display properly the image.
In a new world where AI agents can provide demonstrations directly within a Pull Request, it would be valuable to allow image and photo uploads via the GitHub Action artifact upload, which has been supported since last week.
Additionally, artifact links should be properly interpreted and rendered when they are added to a Pull Request or Issue.
