Add tab size customization for code viewing in Android app

Screen space is at a premium on most mobile devices. The default tab size of 8 makes reading code difficult. Please could you expose this feature, or at the very least change the default to 4 for C/C++, which I believe is a far more common setting.

I agree that a smaller tab size would make code much easier to read, especially on small screens.
In the meantime, one workaround could be converting tabs to spaces before viewing the file.
But yes, it would be great if the app allowed customizing the tab size directly.

@howprice , perhaps this issue would be clearer for searching if you change the title to something like this:
The mobile app should respect the tab size preference set in my web account settings

Or perhaps you think it should be seperate from the website account settings. Either way. Your call, but I figure the more motion we give this issue, perhaps it will gain the code owners' attention.

I think the mobile app should respect the settings I use on the website. That's why we use tabs - so that the individual developer can decide how they want to read the indentations. Many prefer 4. I prefer 2. Some probably even 3. I don't think ANYONE prefers 8 spaces per tab, unless perhaps somebody really LOVES COBOL.

Anyway, the GitHub app's AI suggested I include this info here:

• Description: The tab size setting in my web account is set to 2 spaces, but the mobile app displays tabs as 8 spaces

• Expected behavior: The mobile app should respect the tab size preference set in my web account settings
