I'm also interested in this feature. I feel like having to fork a repository to contribute to it is a bit of a bottleneck. There are tools available for this workflow, and it not only benefits the users, but GitHub itself by allowing it to save space. From what I heard, the platform already has issues with this, specially with package repositories like nixpkgs and homebrew. |
